Right in Marietta, where Wellstar Health System set roots decades ago, we’re about to experience the sprouting of something fresh in our backyard. Powered by Catalyst, WellFarm is the latest innovative effort by the Wellstar Bistro in its sustainability and local food production efforts. This 40-foot up-cycled shipping container can produce over 200 pounds of greens and vegetables weekly for use by the Wellstar Corporate Headquarters Bistro, Wellstar Catering, and the Wellstar Health Park Bistros located in Acworth, East Cobb and Vinings. The WellFarm will do this using 99% less water than conventional farming techniques.
